The Tree in the Road

Walking in the road,
I found a tree.
There were some leaves in that tree.
Flowers in that tree, there were.
Some day, I saw the tree again.
What a sadness, I saw!
There weren´t flowers and leaves anymore!
The tree was arid.
I saw the leaves fallen on the soil, near the tree.
I noticed that tree, my life was.
I began to cry.
I saw in it the dryness of my loneliness.
The time went by!
Walking in the road
I found the tree covered in white.
It seemed like my heart.
The snow on the top
Was as cold as the loneliness within me.
The Springtime was born!
Once more, I saw the tree.
It was beautiful.
The flowers and leaves came back.
But I still walk lonely in the road.
But now, I´m happy, because I know that some day,
like the tree, love in my life will appear.
It was written by me on 2004, 2nd Dec.
